The development and promotion of Arts and Physical Education are other fundamental pillars of the Santa Marta Bilingual School curriculum. Therefore, in addition to the regular class hours, we offer a program of recreational activities that include, among others: Football, Women’s Football, Tennis, Chess, Basketball, Dance, Crafts, Taekwondo, Archer Training, Cheerleaders, Band, Vocal technique,

Volleyball.
With this program, students are expected to explore new talents, as well as strengthen virtues as necessary as commitment, responsibility, perseverance and self-confidence, always orienting our processes to their integral formation.

The schedule of recreational activities is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 2:50 to 4:10 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m., which is adjusted according to the activity chosen by the student.

The cost of recreational activities is $ 91,000 per month and for the months of August, December and January the cost is $ 51,000, this must be assumed by the parents and will be billed monthly in the pension booklet. The materials of the art games are not included in the value of these and will be requested to the students.
In addition to the rules of the coexistence manual, the following were established for the proper development of recreational activities:

The collection of recreational students is done in the bays, the busses of the School’s school transport are allowed access to the School.

If the student decides to retire from the program, the Family Father must inform Stephanie Acevedo, School Services Coordinator (stephanie.acevedo@cbsm.edu.co) by mail, no later than the 25th of the current month so that this Service is not loaded into the next month’s payment voucher. The School does not assume that the absences are a reason for retirement and the play will continue to be charged.

Parents must be punctual at the time of departure when picking up students. From Monday to Friday, once the activity is finished, the School Services Coordinator will stay 15 minutes with the students. After this time will communicate with the Parents of Preschool and Primary, to remind them of their duty to pick up their children on time. The students of High School will remain in the benches located in the crosswalk inside the installations of the School.
